There was an offer on Barry M nail polishes: 2 for £5, so I bought...
--> Peach Melba (318)
I saw this colour on missglamorazzi's (on Youtube) recent London + Paris haul video and I had been looking for ages for a really pretty, peachy colour to wear on my nails. I already have a coral coloured polish but it's quite a bit darker than this so when I saw Ingrid (that's her name) show this in her video, I was like "I have to get this colour next time I go to Superdrug!"
--> Indigo (312)
This was also featured on Ingrid's haul video. It's a really beautiful, deep blue colour which I think would be great for winter because it's such a dark colour. As with the peach, I have been looking for a dark blue polish for a long time as I just don't have one in my collection and Ingrid reminded me that I needed one!

There was an offer on NYC polishes too: 2 for £2.49 (I think!), so I chose...
--> Grand Central Station (202) - it's just a clear polish
--> Lexington Yellow (294)
I desperately needed a clear nail polish because my previous one went completely solid after I used it up so the brush wouldn't touch what was left of it in the bottom of the bottle...
As it was 2 for £2.49, I decided to get another colour to get better value for money so I chose a yellow mainly because none of the other colours really stood out to me. I think NYC polishes are great because you get quite a large bottle of pretty good quality nail polish for a cheap price. Initially, I wasn't too excited about this yellow but when I put it on my nails, I just really liked it. I've seen a lot of yellow accessories in shops recently so I thought this would be a cool colour to match with those items. Also, it's a nice bright colour for what is left of the summer!

I also bought my first ever nail polish from Topshop. It was one from the metallic range worth £6: Amethyst.
Firstly, I just want to say how much I love the packaging. I really like the spotty lid because it makes it instantly recognisable as a polish from Topshop and the design on the front of the actual bottle is really simple and I just like the font!
I've been looking for a multi-tonal nail polish for some time and I couldn't find one in drugstores like Superdrug and Boots, and I remembered that Topshop sold nail polishes so I checked out what they had on their website and Voila! I found the whole metallics range! There were a couple of other multi-tonal nail polishes on the website like Eclipse and Hidden Treasure which looked pretty cool but I decided to just pick one to start off with.
I really like how the polish looks in the bottle, with the purpley colour in the centre with brown, and maybe slightly green edges; I think it looks great. So I tried it on my nails.
Looking straight at the nail, it just looks like a shimmery purple colour, but when you move your finger and catch it in different lights it changes and you see the browny colour. Over the years I have collected a fair few purple nail polishes and I think the multi-tonal element to this one makes it much prettier and just more interesting!
I won't be purchasing Topshop nail polishes all the time, but every now and again shouldn't be too hard a hit on my purse!
